2 Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident at Demaree Street and Whitendale Avenue [Visalia, CA]

Truck Crashes into Sedan on Demaree Street in Visalia Killing Two People

 
VISALIA, CA (March 18, 2023) – Two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident at Demaree Street and Whitendale Avenue in Visalia on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 12:20 p.m. on March 15, just south of West La Vida Avenue. Police said a black GMC truck was traveling north on Demaree and veered into the opposite lane of traffic and collided with a black Cadillac sedan.
 
As a result, the driver and passenger of the Cadillac both died at the scene.
 
The driver of the truck was taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
 
The Visalia Police Department Traffic Unit is still investigating the cause of the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the traffic unit at 559-713-4237.
