2 Hurt After Stolen Vehicle Crashes on Obama Boulevard in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 19, 2024) — Two people were injured after a police chase involving a stolen car ended in a multi-car accident on Obama Boulevard at La Brea Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the police chase happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday. Upon spotting a stolen white Kia traveling on Obama Boulevard, officers attempted to make an enforcement stop. However, the teenage driver of the stolen vehicle failed to yield and led police in a chase.
The Kia did not get far as it crashed into a white Chevrolet U-Haul pickup truck and a BMW.
Soon after, paramedics arrived and took the BMW and Chevrolet drivers to a hospital with minor injuries. Following the incident, Los Angeles Police learned that two juvenile females were in the stolen Kia and took both of them to custody.
