2 Hurt in Rollover Crash on Highway 101 in Santa Maria

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (October 5, 2023) — Two people were injured in a rollover accident on Highway 101 near Santa Maria Way.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 3:44 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a car lost control and crashed on the highway. Soon after, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office and Santa Barbara County Fire Department officials responded to the northbound lanes to find a car on its roof.
 
Upon noticing two individuals from the vehicle, firefighters extricated a male driver and a female passenger from the car. Both patients sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Marian Regional Medical Center for care.
