2 Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach

 
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (November 11, 2024) — Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Garnet Avenue near Mission Bay Drive Sunday.
 
The San Diego Police Department responded to reports of a two-vehicle accident around 10:45 a.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a westbound 2002 Harley-Davidson Dyna collided with an eastbound 2013 BMW M3. It appears the BMW struck the passenger side rear panel of the Harley-Davidson.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and found the 39-year-old motorcyclist with minor abrasions and his 40-year-old female passenger with an open fracture to her right tibia. Due to their state, medics transported them to a hospital for treatment.
 
Reports did not include information on the condition of the 70-year-old BMW driver and whether she claimed any injuries.
