2 Hurt when Hit-and-Run Driver Crashes Van into Taco Truck at Maple Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (October 11, 2021) — Two people are hurt after a hit-and-run driver crashes a van into a taco truck at Maple Avenue and Belmont Avenue Saturday.
 
According to reports, at least two people were eating outside of Tacos El Bello, which stood outside serving customers out of its trailer. Subsequently, a driver in a red van drove into the crowd and crashed into the trailer. Soon after, the driver left the scene, leaving a man and a woman with injuries.
 
Following the accident, paramedics reached the scene and took the male victim to Community Regional Medical Center.
 
At this time, authorities need the public’s help with locating the hit-and-run driver who, they say, might have been impaired, telling from evidence at the scene. Therefore, those with information should call the authorities.
