2 Hurt in DUI Motorcycle Crash at Menifee Road in Menifee

 
MENIFEE, CA (March 25, 2024) — Two people suffered minor to critical injuries in a DUI motorcycle accident at Menifee Road and Newport Road.
 
According to Menifee police officers, the two-vehicle crash happened around 11:35 p.m. Thursday. For possible DUI reasons, a motorcyclist rear-ended a Toyota sedan at an unconfirmed speed. Subsequently, the victim was hurled off the Harley-Davidson motorcycle onto the westbound lanes of Newport Road.
 
Soon after, Riverside County Fire Department officials arrived and rendered treatment to the victim before taking the individual to a regional trauma center. As of Friday, the victim remains in critical condition. As for the Toyota driver, he or she suffered minor injuries and also received treatment at a nearby hospital.
