2 Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash on 15 Freeway in San Bernardino County
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (February 12, 2024) — A 2-car crash on the 15 Freeway near Oak Hill Road resulted in injuries Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 9:15 a.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a white Mercedes sedan rear-ended a Ford pickup, sending the Mercedes toward the center divider and over the side.
Soon after, San Bernardino County Fire arrived near the Cajon Pass and found the vehicle down a ravine and extricated the two people inside. Both patients, who required hospital care, were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Due to the 2-car crash, commuters faced southbound traffic on the 15 Freeway for several miles through Hesperia. If anyone has seen this incident and could help traffic investigators, please call the CHP.
