2 Killed in 2-Car Crash at Road 256 in Tulare County

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (July 18, 2023) — Two people died in Saturday’s 2-car accident at Road 256 and Avenue 196.
 
According to investigators, the two-car crash happened Saturday evening. For an unknown reason, a 28-year-old man ran a stop sign and crashed into a truck pulling a trailer.
 
As a result of the crash, the 28-year-old man suffered major injuries and died at a hospital. In addition, his 38-year-old passenger from Corcoran passed away at the scene.
 
As for the second driver, he reported minor injuries in the accident, and paramedics brought his passengers to a hospital with major injuries.
 
The California Highway Patrol does not know if alcohol or drugs factored into the crash; however, they are looking into the details further.
