Late Evening Wrong-Way Crash on La Brea Avenue in West Hollywood Leaves 2 Drivers in Critical Condition

 
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 14, 2023) – Two people were critically injured in a wrong-way crash on La Brea Avenue in West Hollywood late Monday evening.
 
Around 11:15 p.m. on April 10, a white car and a Ford Mustang collided in the 1200 block of La Brea Avenue. One of the cars was reportedly speeding and was traveling the wrong way prior to the crash.
 
The impact from the crash was so violent, both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles. They were eventually rescued by responding Los Angeles County firefighters and taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
 
Both vehicles sustained major damage.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
