Children Hurt After Car Overturns During Crash on 80 Freeway in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 21, 2025) — Two children were injured in an overturned accident on the 80 Freeway in Sacramento.
 
According to Metro Fire Sacramento, the overturned accident happened around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a driver swerved in front of a vehicle. Subsequently, one of the cars struck the center median and flipped over several times.
 
After the crash, a mother inside the overturned vehicle assisted two kids from the rear of the car. Reports confirmed that the children suffered minor injuries.
 
Officers did not say what led to the accident or include information on the other vehicle and driver.
