2 Airlifted after Motorcycle Accident on Central House Road [Oroville, CA]

Two Motorcyclists Seriously Injured in Accident on Central House Road near Highway 70 near Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (March 25, 2022) – Two motorcyclists sustained serious injuries in an accident on Central House Road on Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on March 23 at about 1:40 p.m. As per reports, two riders were involved in a collision. The first motorcyclist took his eyes off the road while traveling at an unsafe speed.
 
Then, a second motorcyclist crashed into the rear of the first motorcycle near Highway 70.
 
An air ambulance transported both motorcyclists to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
Authorities did not release the names of the riders.
 
Oroville CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
