17-Year-Old Uriel Velasquez Dies in Car Crash on Highway 180 near McCall Avenue

 
SANGER, CA (August 22, 2023) — Uriel Velasquez died in a car accident on Highway 180 near McCall Avenue.
 
According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the single-car crash turned fatal early Saturday. Under unclear circumstances, 17-year-old Velasquez crashed his Toyota Camry on Highway 180.
 
Soon after, CHP officers and paramedics arrived but Velasquez passed away.
 
In the investigation, traffic investigators learned that he was not wearing his seatbelt.
