Hit-and-Run Car Hurts Teen on West 20th Street in Merced

 
MERCED, CA (August 31, 2023) – A 16-year-old girl was injured in a hit-and-run crash at West 20th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way on Monday evening.
 
The crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. on August 28. According to the Merced Police Department, the teen was crossing the street when a silver car hit her.
 
After striking the victim, the driver took off without rendering aid.
 
Responding paramedics transported the teen to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
