15-year-old Chandlyr Dees Killed in 2-Vehicle Accident near Standing Rock Avenue and Japatul Road

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (January 3, 2023) — Chandlyr Dees died in an off-road crash near Standing Rock Avenue and Japatul Road.
 
According to the San Bernardino County coroner’s office, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. New Year’s Day. Upon responding, Apple Valley Fire Department and California Highway Patrol found an off-road vehicle, described as an ATV. In addition, they saw a sedan and its driver who stayed at the scene.
 
For unknown reasons, both vehicles collided, leaving Dees with major injuries and urging paramedics to rush him to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Apple Valley. However, despite receiving life-saving efforts, the 15-year-old died from his injuries.
 
Information surrounding the liabilities and circumstances is unavailable at this time. Although, an investigation into the case should reveal more details.
