12-Year-Old Kavon Day Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on C Street near Wilbur Avenue
YUBA CITY, CA (November 7, 2022) — Kavon Day was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on C Street near Wilbur Avenue.
According to reports, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened on November 2 around 12:25 p.m. Upon receiving a call, Yuba City police officers responded to find a 12-year-old lying in the roadway after being hit by an unknown car.
According to family members, the preteen was leaving a relative’s house at the time and was hit by an oncoming driver, later suffering from a broken back, hip, ribs and ankle. Following the accident, paramedics airlifted him to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
As for the driver, he or she left the scene, leaving the 12-year-old and his family members recovering from this traumatic episode.
