Juvenile Injured in Santa Clarita Pedestrian Accident on Rio Lobo Way

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (October 14, 2024) — A 12-year-old hit by a car on Rio Lobo Way near Duke Drive sustained serious injuries.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 3:20 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a 12-year-old pedestrian on Rio Lobo Way. Subsequently, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the 29200 block of Rio Lobo Way and requested an airlift. The child was airlifted to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles around 3:45 p.m. for treatment.
 
Officials did not specify the leading cause of the accident. However, they are investigating the unclear details.
