1 Person Injured After 2 Cars Crash on Old River Road in Yolo County

 
YOLO COUNTY, CA (January 11, 2024) — One person suffered a leg injury in a 2-car accident on Old River Road near the 5 Freeway.
 
According to officials, the two-car crash happened around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday. For unknown reason, a driver of a Toyota turned left into a driveway but crossed into the path of an SUV. Subsequently, the SUV struck the Toyota and flipped over, ejecting one person from the cabin.
 
Moments later, Elkhorn Fire Protection District responded to the scene and treated the person ejected who suffered a broken leg. Two other passengers in the SUV refused hospital care. As for the driver of the Toyota, he or she reported no injuries.
 
Authorities did not confirm the factors leading to the crash. However, we will update this report once we get more details.
