1 Injured in Pedestrian Accident near Main Street in Fallbrook
FALLBROOK, CA (January 14, 2025) — One person was injured in a pedestrian accident near Main Avenue and Alvarado Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened around 5:46 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a silver Nissan sedan struck a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk at the intersection.
Subsequently, emergency responders arrived and attended to the victim, whose condition was unclear. After paramedics rendered medical assistance at the scene, the patient was taken to a hospital.
Due to the crash, police closed the intersection to investigate the collision and canvased the scene for clues leading to it.
