POMONA, CA (May 23, 2022) — One person was injured in a pedestrian accident on Garey Avenue at Artesia Street on Friday.
 
According to a police report, the pedestrian crash occurred around 9:12 p.m. Upon responding, officers from the Pomona Police Department learned that a pedestrian had walked into traffic for unknown reasons.
 
Subsequently, a passing vehicle struck the individual, causing the person critical injuries.
