1 Person Killed in 2-Car Crash on Wilson Road in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 27, 2023) — One person died in a 2-car accident on Wilson Road near Sage Drive.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the fatal car accident happened on October 25 around 5:13 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, two drivers collided in the 6400 block of Wilson Road.
 
As a result of the accident, one driver suffered major injuries and died at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office has yet to release the victim’s name.
 
As for the second motorist, he or she reported no injuries and cooperated with police investigators.
 
At this time, officers do not suspect impairment to have played a factor in the crash. However, the investigation continues.
