1 Dead, 2-Car Accident on Roblar Road in Santa Rosa

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (December 18, 2023) — One person died in a head-on accident on Roblar Road near Stony Point Road.
 
According to the Santa Rosa California Highway Patrol officers, the two-car crash happened around 5:13 p.m. on Saturday. For DUI-related reasons, a female driving an eastbound Volvo SUV entered the westbound lane on Roblar Road. Subsequently, the Volvo struck an eastbound Toyota head-on.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and took the Volvo driver to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries. There, authorities learned that impairment played a role on the woman’s part and arrested the driver.
 
Tragically, the Toyota driver died in the crash. Officials have not confirmed his name at this time, but the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Corner’s office will release the name once they notify his family.
