SAN DIEGO, CA (August 24, 2023) — One person was injured in a 4-car accident on the 805 Freeway near El Cajon Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car crash happened Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, four vehicles crashed on the northbound 805 Freeway. As a result, one person suffered unknown injuries and required hospitalization.
 
Soon after, CHP officers closed the left three lanes of the northbound side, south of El Cajon Boulevard. By 7:15 a.m., crews reopened the lanes as tow trucks hauled off the vehicles. At this time, authorities do not have information on the cause of the crash. However, an investigation into the details should reveal more information.
