VISTA, CA (June 24, 2024) — A driver was injured in a car and school bus accident at Monte Vista Drive and Lita Lane.
 
According to authorities, the school bus crash happened around 7:50 a.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a green Toyota vehicle collided with a school bus carrying five students, ages 5 to 10 years old. Subsequently, paramedics responded and took the Toyota driver to a hospital with major life-threatening injuries.
 
Following the collision, authorities did not say what led to the accident that although harmed the Toyota driver did not injure the students or bus driver involved.
