1 Driver Hospitalized in Bus, Car Crash on Rock Springs Road in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (February 24, 2023) — A driver was injured in a car accident with a bus on Rock Springs Road near Glendale Avenue.
 
According to reports, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 8:13 a.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a driver of a westbound Chevrolet veered over the double yellow lines and nearly struck a Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) bus head-on. However, the bus driver took evasive action, leading the Chevy driver to sideswipe the bus instead and crash into multiple chain link fences and a tree. Debris from the incident spewed from all directions, hitting a nearby Subaru.
 
Only one person, the Chevy driver, suffered injuries in the accident. Authorities learned that the bus was carrying no passengers at the time, except the driver who appeared to be safe.
