1 Dead in Rollover Accident on Highway 74 near Palm Canyon Drive [Anza, CA]

Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 74 in Anza

 
ANZA, CA (October 31, 2022) — One person died in a rollover accident on Highway 74 near Palm Canyon Drive on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car crash happened around 12:10 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a westbound vehicle veered out of control and off the roadway. The car subsequently rolled down a 100-foot embankment and ejected one person from the vehicle.
 
Upon responding, Riverside County Fire Department crews found the victim lying a short distance from the car with fatal injuries. The person’s name is unavailable at this time.
 
Not long after, firefighters received a call about a toddler who might have been involved in the accident. However, as of 1:00 p.m., firefighters found no sign of the child.
