Motorcyclist Dies in 710 Freeway Crash in South Gate

 
SOUTH GATE, CA (November 25, 2024) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on the 710 Freeway near Clara Street Bridge
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle crash happened around 5:00 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, an SUV and a motorcycle crashed on the 710 Freeway.
 
Subsequently, paramedics responded to the scene, and police issued a SigAlert for the southbound No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes since the motorcyclist was trapped under the SUV.
 
Following the accident, paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital where the individual passed away. Officials did not release the person’s identity, nor did officers confirm the ultimate cause of the accident.
