Deadly Car Accident With Utility Pole on Palermo-Honcut Highway in Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (November 3, 2023) — One person died after a car crashed into a utility pole on Palermo-Honcut Highway at Cox Lane.
 
According to the Oroville California Highway Patrol, the deadly single-car crash happened around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a driver lost control of a Ford F-250 and drifted off the road. Subsequently, the driver overcorrected but crashed into a utility pole.
 
Due to the severity of the accident, the driver suffered fatal injuries. Officials have not identified him as of late.
