Fatal Fiery Car Crash near Fremont Boulevard in Fremont

 
FREMONT, CA (May 24, 2024) — One person died, and another suffered serious injuries in a fiery car accident near Fremont Boulevard and Thornton Avenue.
 
According to Fremont Police officers, the fatal crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver lost control of a vehicle and crashed into a large tree in front of Bogie’s Discount Pet Food & Supplies.
 
Subsequently, an officer responded and pulled a passenger from the vehicle. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital for care. Tragically, the driver passed away from severe injuries, and authorities identified both as 19-year-old Newark residents.
