Motorcyclist Dies after Struck by Two Hit-and-Run Drivers in Lemon Grove

 
LEMON GROVE, CA (October 2, 2024) – John Nealis was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lemon Grove early Monday morning on September 30.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:25 a.m. on Highway 94 near College Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Nealis was riding a Triumph motorcycle when a speeding dark-colored sedan struck the motorcycle from behind. The impact ejected him into lanes of traffic.
 
A gray four-door sedan also hit him while he was lying in the roadway.
 
As a result, Nealis suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 47-year-old El Cajon resident.
 
Both drivers fled the scene before officers arrived.
 
At this time, both suspects remain at large. An investigation into this fatality is underway.
