Motorcycle Rider Severely Injured in Crash on Amethyst Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 20, 2023) — A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Amethyst Road near Taurus Lane.
 
According to reports, the motorcycle crash happened around 12:40 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a 22-year-old man operating a motorcycle collided with the back of a black SUV while heading northbound. The impact caused the man to go airborne before another driver struck him. Meanwhile, his bike crashed into a third car.
 
Soon after, Victorville City Firefighters requested an airship to land at the scene to airlift the victim to a trauma center. Authorities learned that the motorcycle rider was at fault.
