67-Year-Old Diane Herrera Struck, Killed by Driver on Mt. Vernon Avenue at Oak Street
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 27, 2023) — Diane Herrera was hit and killed by a car on Mt Vernon Avenue at Oak Street on January 18.
According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department corner press release, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 10:13 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of an unknown make and model struck 67-year-old Diane Herrera.
Soon after, emergency personnel brought her to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for immediate care. However, despite receiving treatments, she died later at a hospital.
The corner press release didn’t specify the events leading to the crash. However, the San Bernardino Police Department is investigating the incident further. If anyone has information to add, please reach out to the department.
