SLOUGHHOUSE, CA (January 17, 2023) — Two people reported injuries in a head-on accident on Jackson Road near Indio Drive Saturday.
 
According to Sacramento Metro Fire, the head-on collision happened around 2:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, two white vehicles crashed in a head-on fashion. The two drivers suffered critical injuries and required care at the scene before being transported to a hospital.
 
Authorities have not released the victims’ names or what led to the accident. If anyone has seen this crash and can help the CHP with the investigation, please reach out to their department.
