Dale Erskine Dead, Menette Schults Injured in Head-On Crash on Mount Hermon Road near Covenant Lane

 
FELTON, CA (November 22, 2022) — 55-year-old Dale Erskine died in a head-on accident at around 4:28 p.m. on Sunday, November 20.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, 64-year-old Menette Schults drove a 2019 Lexus RX350 westbound on Mount Hermon Road, west of Covenant Lane. Then a 2007 Volkswagen Beetle driven eastbound by Erskine crashed with her vehicle.
 
Erskine succumbed to his injuries and died as a result of the incident.
 
Schults sustained major injuries. Emergency responders rushed her to Valley Medical Center.
 
It is unknown if intoxication and speed contributed to the crash.
 
California Highway Patrol handles the investigation of the collision.
