Motorcyclist Denzil Broadhurst Killed in Collision with Police Cruiser in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 2, 2022) – Authorities identified 61-year-old Denzil Ollen Broadhurst as the motorcyclist killed in a collision with a police officer on May Street on Monday evening.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident happened on October 31 at about 8:10 p.m. A marked police vehicle was on its way to a reported felony when it collided with a motorcycle near Bell Avenue.
 
Emergency crews transported Broadhurst to a local hospital, where he later died.
 
As per reports, the police vehicle did not have the emergency lights or siren on at the time of the collision.
