Passenger Killed, Car Hits Tree on Elverta Road in Antelope

 
ANTELOPE, CA (October 27, 2022) — A passenger died after a car hit a tree on Elverta Road near Quiet Knolls Lane.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car accident happened around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a driver was bearing down at a high rate of speed before the car slammed into a tree.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel reached the scene and found the passenger with fatal wounds and the driver with major injuries.
 
At this time, CHP officers are investigating if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the accident. Thus, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
