David Seager Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Day Street at Campus Parkway [Riverside, CA]

David Seager Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Day Street at Campus Parkway in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (September 2, 2022) – Police identified David Seager as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Day Street on September 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Campus Parkway shortly before 8:00 PM.
 
Based on reports, Seager was walking eastbound on Day where there is no crosswalk at the time of the crash. At the same time, a 2020 Honda Accord was traveling southbound at an unknown speed. Due to unknown circumstances, the Honda struck the pedestrian in the southbound lanes.
 
As a result, Riverside Fire Department paramedics said David Seager died in the incident. Officials identified him as a 55-year-old man from Riverside.
 
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old Moreno Valley resident, stopped and called 911.
 
As of now, the investigation is ongoing. Officials ask anyone with information to contact the police Traffic Bureau at 951-826-8720.
