BAKER, CA (August 2, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian crash on the 15 Freeway near Baker Boulevard on Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 4:23 a.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a gray Chrysler Town & Country minivan struck a pedestrian on the southbound 15 Freeway of the on-ramp.
 
Arriving authorities found the driver at the scene and the pedestrian with fatal injuries.
 
According to an investigation, another driver struck the pedestrian and stopped at the next off-ramp.
