Early Morning Multi-Vehicle Accident on 710 Freeway in Compton Kills 1 and Hurts 3

 
COMPTON, CA (July 18, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 710 Freeway in Compton early Sunday, July 17.
 
The accident happened around 2:50 a.m. on the northbound freeway, just north of Alondra Boulevard. According to a Los Angeles County Fire Department, four vehicles collided, one of them had rolled over.
 
As a result, one person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Paramedics transported three people to hospitals with minor injuries.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
