Rider Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on 405 Freeway in Culver City

 
CULVER CITY, CA (July 1, 2022) – One person died in a motorcycle accident on 405 Freeway in Culver City on Thursday, June 30.
 
The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. at the westbound 90 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle and a vehicle collided on the transition road in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they located the rider suffering from fatal injuries. They pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
Crews issued a SigAlert to close the transition road while they cleared they wreckage.
 
At this time, an investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
