Head-On Crash on Highway 95 at Vidal Junction Kills 35-Year-Old Calipatria Man

 
VIDAL JUNCTION, CA (June 30, 2022) – Jaime Renteria died in a head-on accident at the Vidal Junction on Tuesday evening, June 28.
 
The accident happened around 9:40 p.m. on Highway 95 at mile marker 22. CHP officials said a white Volkswagen sedan and a white tow truck collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Renteria, a 35-year-old Calipatria resident, was killed in the crash. He was one of the involved drivers.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
