Linda Lefler Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Fairview Road near Baker Street

 
COSTA MESA, CA (June 17, 2022) — Linda Lefler died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Fairview Road near Baker Street on Wednesday night.
 
According to the Costa Mesa police department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 9:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck Lefler as she was crossing the street.
 
Subsequently, the driver left the scene, leaving the 64-year-old woman with fatal injuries.
 
Shortly after, investigators responded and began canvassing the scene for details. However, they found no sign of the driver.
 
At this time, the police need the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Per witnesses, the person’s vehicle might have been a silver Toyota sedan with moderate damage to the front end and windshield.
