Driver Hurt, Car Collides With Semi-Truck on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (June 10, 2022) — A driver suffered unknown injuries after the person’s car crashed into a semi-truck on the 15 Freeway near Oak Hill Road on Wednesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 7:04 p.m. For possible speed-related reasons, a driver in a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup approached a slow-moving semi-truck, resulting in an accident.
 
Upon responding, CHP officers and San Bernardino County Fire Department reached the scene to find the pickup truck had rear-ended the back of the semi.
 
Soon after, paramedics brought the injured party to a hospital in an unknown condition. Meanwhile, the uninjured big rig driver stayed on-site and cooperated with the police.
 
At this time, CHP officers have not confirmed other factors that may have contributed to the accident. Although, an ongoing investigation should clarify any details.
