Whittier Police Officer Suffers Injuries after Colliding Head-On with Van near Telegraph Road

 
WHITTIER, CA (June 8, 2022) – A Whittier Police Department officer suffered injuries in a head-on accident near Telegraph Road, early Friday morning on June 3.
 
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. at Mills Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the police cruiser and a van collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Footage from the scene showed heavy damage to both vehicles.
 
Responding paramedics took the officer to a nearby hospital with complaints of pain.
 
Meanwhile, the sole occupant and driver of the van did not sustain any injuries.
