Early Morning Two-Car Accident on Juniper Avenue in Fontana Kills 1 Driver and Injures Another

 
FONTANA, CA (June 6, 2022) – A woman was killed in a two-car accident at Juniper Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in Fontana early Thursday morning on June 2.
 
The accident happened around 4:43 a.m., according to the Fontana Police Department. Officers arrived and determined that a white Chevrolet SUV traveling east on Foothill collided with a Nissan sedan that was making a southbound turn onto Juniper from Foothill.
 
First responders found the female adult driver of the Nissan with significant injuries. They rushed her to a local hospital, where the victim later died.
 
The male driver of the Chevrolet also suffered major injuries.
 
Crews closed the intersection for several hours while they cleared the wreckage.
