Passenger Maria Montes Dies after Car Crashes at Cajon Boulevard and Ogden Street

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (June 6, 2022) – Maria Del Carmen Montes Montes was killed in a car accident in San Bernardino late Wednesday afternoon on June 1.
 
The accident happened around 5:08 p.m. at Cajon Boulevard and Ogden Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, Montes was a passenger in a vehicle that had crashed at the intersection.
 
Emergency crews rushed Montes to at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she later died.
 
Montes was a 61-year-old San Bernardino resident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
 
The condition of the driver was not immediately known. It is also unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
