Man Killed, Car Hits Into Tree on Highway 101 in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (May 31, 2022) — A man died after a car crashed into a tree on Highway 101 near Blossom Hill Road on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car accident happened just before 1:43 a.m. A passer-by found a man inside a 2021 Hyundai Sonata that seemed to have driven off the westside of the southbound lanes before it crashed into a tree.
 
Soon after, paramedics, CHP officers and other officials respond to find a vehicle cold to the touch.
 
At this time, the fatal victim’s name and the circumstances of the crash are not available. However, anyone who has seen this accident should call the CHP.
