SANTA YNEZ, CA (May 18, 2022) — Three people were injured in a 3-car crash on Highway 154 near Edison Street on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car crash happened around 3:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, three people crashed at the intersection in an unknown fashion.
 
Soon after, CHP and Santa Barbara County Fire Department officials arrived and found one person with major injuries.
 
Another person suffered moderate injuries and a third patient sustained minor wounds.
 
Upon seeing the victims, paramedics requested a helicopter to airlift one patient to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
