76-Year-Old Woman Dead in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Roscoe Boulevard near Woodley Avenue in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 13, 2022) – A 76-year-old woman died in a multi-vehicle accident on Roscoe Boulevard, early Thursday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on May 12, shortly after midnight. An eastbound vehicle reportedly ran a red light at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Woodley Avenue.
 
A short time later, the vehicle collided with another car. The impact of the crash caused the second vehicle to hit a third vehicle and a Los Angeles Fire Department fire truck.
 
Emergency crews transported a 76-year-old woman in the second vehicle to a hospital, where she later died. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
As per reports, none of the firefighters sustained injuries in the crash. However, information on other injuries was not released.
 
LAPD continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
