Driver Hurt, Semi-Truck and Vehicle Collide on Air Expressway in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 9, 2022) — A driver was injured after a big rig and a car crashed on Air Expressway at Nevada Avenue on Friday morning.
 
According to the Victorville Police Department, the accident happened around 3:06 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver crashed into a semi-truck at the intersection. Shortly after, firefighters responded and took 30 minutes to extricate the driver from the car.
 
From there, paramedics airlifted the critically injured patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for immediate care.
 
At this time, authorities have not indicated the leading cause of this crash. Although, anyone who has seen this accident should contact the Victorville Police Station.
