BEVERLY HILLS, CA (April 22, 2022) – A man sustained injuries in a bicycle accident on Rodeo Drive, early Thursday morning.
 
According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, the incident happened on April 21, shortly after midnight. For reasons still under investigation, a car hit a bicyclist near the intersection of Rodeo Drive and North Santa Monica Boulevard.
 
Emergency crews transported the bicyclist to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. As per reports, the victim remained hospitalized Thursday afternoon.
 
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities did not release the names of the people involved.
 
Beverly Hills police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
